Our Story
Since 2002, NatureRich has been providing people with a simple way to enhance their lives by aspiring to a toxic-free lifestyle and by giving its Distributors an opportunity to succeed beyond their dreams. But had it not been for a personal tragedy, the company may never have existed.
Sometimes, out of life's tragedies comes a soul-shaking inspiration. Mike Schlegel was a successful network marketing executive who had reached the top of major network marketing companies since he entered the field in 1984. While enjoying the benefits of building a successful organization, life intervened. Mike's wife, Sabrina, suffered a heart attack in 2000, and life forever changed for the Schlegels.
During Sabrina's recovery period, her doctor shared a list of chemicals and advised Sabrina to avoid them because they could adversely affect her recovery. Sabrina went home and was amazed that many of the products she used included many of those chemicals on the list. She started looking for alternatives and started using products free from those chemicals. Immediately, she felt energized – more so than at any point during her recovery. Mike began to use these products, and he also felt increased energy levels and an overall sense of well-being.
The idea was there: combine Mike's background in network marketing to a product that was a simple path to an improved life. But it wasn't until Mike's partner, Brad Collin, made the suggestion that Mike considered starting a company. In 2002, after much prayer and reflection, Mike joined with Sabrina, Brad and his wife, Kim, to begin building what is now NatureRich.
NatureRich saw huge potential for growth in the market. To meet that opportunity for the company and its growing network of Distributors, NatureRich developed and increased its own manufacturing capability. The company also added staff from top to bottom and hasn't looked back.
Since April 2004, NatureRich has produced and distributed its own products from its headquarters near Minneapolis . And now with more than 50,000 Customers and Distributors, and new products on the horizon, NatureRich and its Distributor network are positioned for significant growth.
